Harriet R. Lewis.

Harriet R. Lewis has been a journalist, lifeguard, editor, swim instructor, and business reporter, but not necessarily in that order. She consumes maritime documentaries with a voracious appetite and can still hear distant Lake Huron fog horns at night.

She has been pushed out of a plane, swam a sailboat across a lake, and has an affinity for fall storms on Lake Michigan. When she is not writing—professionally and creatively—she enjoys building her personal library and aged whisky of the Highland variety.

Harriet R. Lewis lives near the Great Lakes with her husband, English Labrador, and Staffy-Lab mix.
